Elmhurst Art Museum’s 15th Annual Art in the Park: A Juried Show of Fine Art, Craft, and Design produced by RGL Marketing for the Arts will take place Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2011, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on the grounds of Elmhurst Art Museum and Wilder Park.
Art in the Park is a wonderful weekend to find unique, artist created, handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, photography, sculpture, furniture, glass, fiber works, and paintings. Artists will be exhibiting works for sale all weekend-long. Enjoy live entertainment on stage and an assortment of food for sale by select vendors. Family activities are available from 10:00 am to 3:00pm each day including Raku in the Park(ing Lot) with ceramic artist Ken Nance, kite making, and a free children's activity.
The Museum will be open free to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm all weekend long. Be sure to enjoy the Portfolio exhibition of talented high school seniors’ works as well as EAM’s own Collection Highlights. Bring the entire family to enjoy the artists, music, food, and other fun activities!
