Create an event as unique as you. Make Elmhurst Art Museum your support to create the perfect celebration! The museum's award-winning structure, groundbreaking exhibitions, and friendly staff are ideal for celebrations and meetings of all kinds.

A variety of rental options are available to meet your needs, whether it be a wedding, brainstorming staff meeting, customer appreciation cocktail reception, or dinner to impress your most valuable customers. The museum can accommodate up to 160 for a sit-down dinner and up to 300 for a reception.  The museum is available for rental based on exhibition schedule.  Please contact us to check availability.   

The galleries are available for viewing, and our patio overlooking beautiful Wilder Park is a perfect setting for your function.

Rental Fees

Rental fees include use of venue (Hostetler Gallery and/or patio), 1-hour gallery viewing, and event security. Rental fees do not include food, beverages or equipment rental (tables, chairs, linens, etc.). Our preferred caterers (listed below) can provide detailed quotes for these items. 

Rental fees are based on a 5-hour event window. Prices are subject to change without notice.

All facility rentals require a $1,000 security deposit taken 45 days before your event.

Elmhurst Art Museum welcomes the opportunity to advance public recognition and awareness of the visual arts, Museum programs, and collection by opening our facilities for special events.  Elmhurst Art Museum’s event rentals augment the Museum’s mission by opening our facilities for special events after normal operational hours allowing the public access to the exhibition space and architecturally significant facility during events so long as the event rentals do not conflict with the primary mission of the Museum.  Rental privileges are extended to corporations, businesses, private individuals, as well as non-profit organizations so long as those parties’ interests do not conflict with the mission of the Museum.
