Folding the Map on Segregation
Artist and activist Tonika Johnson joins Michal Raz-Russo, Programs Director at The Gordon Parks Foundation, to discuss her upcoming projects that address the lasting impact discriminatory practices have had in shaping Chicago neighborhoods. This conversation provides insight into Johnson’s Folded Map Project, which addresses urban segregation by connecting individuals from across the city.
The video will always be available on the exhibit’s Museum from Home page.
The exhibition “In Focus” and related programs are generously sponsored by the JCS Arts, Health and Education Fund of DuPage Foundation and David C. & Sarajean Ruttenberg Arts Foundation.
