Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the McCormick House!

Learn about the history and unique design of the McCormick House (1952) by the legendary architect Mies van der Rohe on this docent-led tour.

The McCormick House is a single-family home designed in 1952 by Mies van der Rohe, one of the great architects of the 20th Century. It is one of only three residences designed and built by Mies in the United States – and one of only two open to the public.

The current art installation by Jan Tichy invites visitors to explore its domestic space as an environment of movement, light, activity, and wonder.
