YESFest was cultivated in 2013 by a small group of stir-crazy performers in Elmhurst. The mission was to provide a supportive and fulfilling event platform for musicians, artists, comedians, and poets of the community. Since year one, the fest has moved from a public park, to a garage, and finally to its current home at the Elmhurst Art Museum. The festival stages present performers and artists from all around the Chicagoland area in a day of vulnerability, opportunity, support and excitement.
