A Space Problem

Preview the exhibition before your visit. We will update this page with additional resources throughout its duration.

The current McCormick House exhibition, A Space Problem, features mid-century furnishings along with works by local artists and architects. Designer David Salkin organized the exhibit as a home with a range of paintings, patterned rugs, ceramics, photo collages, and design objects. Featured artists include: Marshall Brown, Jennefer Hoffmann, Sterling Lawrence, David Salkin, and Geoffrey Todd Smith.

A downloadable From Home family activity and exhibition guide can be found below. Whether visiting in person or from home, use the family activity sheet to create your own responses to the geometric paintings, design objects, and spatial experimentation in the exhibit.
